Ah, my D&D loving ass is such a sucker for a good medieval/high fantasy game. The frog character's art especially has a lot of charm to him, and I love the slapstick setup of the narrative.
Definitely echoing the sentiment that the control explanation did not click with me at all the first couple of runs - the font choice was a bit difficult to read as well which didn't help. Definitely enjoyed sticking through to the end to see both endings though, and I hope the team is proud!

the explanation of the controls was confusing at first, and the lack of clear feedback in the gameplay portion led to a swift loss where i didn't understand much except that i wasn't doing it right. i think this is kinda brilliant actually, for both the narrative (unprepared novice gets his ass handed to him on his first assignment) and the genre (the bad end rewards you with a little hypnosmut).

not very tough to beat on the second go around and the good ending is as fun as the bad one. clever little game! thank you!

quite neat, i enjoyed the neat little story and the sprites/artwork. would certainly be a fun game to see expanded upon.

Very fun! I especially love the fox and frog character sprites, and the image of the fox hypnotized in the mirror is very reminiscent of loony toons, very cool

Took me a second try to get a hang of the gameplay, but I felt the level progression was fun and intuitive. I also liked the writing

On what could be improved, I did not read much of the game's description, and was a bit confused on who was talking and when at the beginning - maybe the name text could match the little colorful teardrops above the character's heads? Or the dominant color of their designs?

Thank you very much. I had a lot of fun with the sprite art on this one.

Making the text box match the gem would have been a smart idea in hindsight lol. We did discuss some things to do with the dialogue to make it more clear but some things didn't make it in in favour of meeting the gamejam deadline. Things to think about though, glad you enjoyed!
